Most of the statements and questions in your first reply seem to be directed at me so let me stand up and answer some of these questions for you and address some of your statements.
First of all, you ask how many Cd's have I put out? and that answer would be NONE! I am not a rapper, producer or wannabe freestyling at parties, I BUY rap music!
Next you STATE that your not the only one that thinks that Sideways beats are dope. That is your thoughts and those artists that rapped over his productions thoughts, I as a music BUYER think that his production is terrible, NO SLAP!
You STATED that someone is trying to be down for the team. Yeah I am trying to be down for the Contra Costa County rap team, if you are from Concord, Pittsburg, Antioch, Oakley or Brentwood, then I most likely have your album, No matter what! I want to see local rappers get their just dues!
Lastly you ask do we know how much money Sideways has made from the rap game? And my answer is NO but I am sure that it is alot less then WOODIE, Mob Figaz (as a group and solo artists), L-Love, A-Wax or anything that has to do with El Pueblo has done. ALOT LESS!
Now since you read all that let me say, like I said I am a fan of Contra Costa County rap, and I BOUGHT all 3 of Sideways albums and the album he put out of his artist. I think that as a rapper Sideways is in the TOP 10 from East Country Costa County, he has a dope rap pattern and great timing. His lyrics though are weak, and his production is even worse. As you can tell also he has no street rep and locally that seems to matter, so he hasn't sold in the "RECORD STORES" since his first album. BE REAL!
But you posting on WOODIES board and giving him the HYPE will most likely help him to sell on the next album and I AM SURE THAT YOU AND HIM KNEW THAT WHEN YOU GOT TOGETHER and came up with this idea.
