U should run wit ur idea.... I like it hella...

What's wyoming north dakota and hawaii lookin like.. Lol... I honestly aint heard of no one from out there... or delaware and vermont... west virginia... I wanna hear these...

Good work
Glad you asked, that's why I like to do this, to get people who jump in my ride and see all the discs to be like WTF with some of those states.

To answer your questions, I feel VERY good about 48 of the 51 compilations. North Dakota, Wyoming and Maine aren't bringing much. Hawaii has one dude, Sean Jay who does some real nice tracks, you can hear him in the iTunes music store. Delaware is actually a state that's very black, so there's hella dudes from there. Wilmington DE is a more thorough place than anywhere in the Northwest, right up next to Philly. Vermont has The Aztext and some other pretty nice whiteboy hip-hop crews. West VA that's poor America thick and thin, so no shortage of stuff to rap about. Six Six 240 is the best guy there, he's out of Morgantown. Then there is Dirty Hun from Charleston aka Chuck-City as they call it.

What's cool about these is how different they all sound from one another and how much they all love their home (they rap about it), those are the two reasons why in this form of music more than any other, GEOGRAPHY MATTERS.

Lac of Respect S.E.A.T.T.L.E.? is that Dirty South by 151 on the Game Members CD or some other song that ive never heard?
Yes it is Dirty South, 151's solo effort, I changed the name in my iTunes a LONG time ago b/c I liked it better and the chorus of the song FAR outshines the line "I'm from the, dirty dirty side of the South" or the part of the chorus that says "I'm from the dirty south side come fuck with me"

I've given 151 a hard time about this before, he basically said the only reason the song wasn't named that to begin with is b/c they already had the song "South Seattle" on there (come to think of it, that song should be called "Street Code" or something other than South Seattle)

ALmost every song on that Cali CD seems like it came out in the last 3 years....whats up with that???There are WAY better songs by WAY better artists that came out BEFORE 2000....

And no Self Tightld?DMS?G-Nutt???WTF homie???Im lost by your picks...
Man if I was making this 2 years ago those dudes would've been on it. I bumped Self Tightld so much in HS. No shame in not making this, I have about 300 songs in my iTunes from WA state that have the 5-star rating, so it isn't knocking anybody. It was VERY hard to narrow it down, I ended up chopping a bunch of songs in half and redoing the layout dozens of times.

I'm surprised none of the Portland people have commented on the Oregon cover image. I'm a 206er and don't go down to Portland hardly ever so I don't know a whole lot about the city. But one time when I was there about 5 years ago, I remember coming across this amazing park smack in the middle of a working class neighborhood on the North side of town. I think the park is called Peninsula Park. I was blown away by that thing, the kind of place Seattle doesn't have. So I remembered that when it came time to do the Oregon cover.

There are alot of parks like Peninsula Park in the P.O.
