To answer your questions, I feel VERY good about 48 of the 51 compilations. North Dakota, Wyoming and Maine aren't bringing much. Hawaii has one dude, Sean Jay who does some real nice tracks, you can hear him in the iTunes music store. Delaware is actually a state that's very black, so there's hella dudes from there. Wilmington DE is a more thorough place than anywhere in the Northwest, right up next to Philly. Vermont has The Aztext and some other pretty nice whiteboy hip-hop crews. West VA that's poor America thick and thin, so no shortage of stuff to rap about. Six Six 240 is the best guy there, he's out of Morgantown. Then there is Dirty Hun from Charleston aka Chuck-City as they call it.
What's cool about these is how different they all sound from one another and how much they all love their home (they rap about it), those are the two reasons why in this form of music more than any other, GEOGRAPHY MATTERS.
