No, actually I don't. His voice is very monotone. It sounds like he's not even into the music he's making. I think he tries to use humor in his lyrical content...but it's just not funny. "We go hungry in our own country, I wonder what it’s like living in Hungary." Or "Right then there's a knock at the door, it's my last hope for a Spanish whore, who will change my sheets in exchange for penis, 'Hi, I've lost my cat have you seen it?'"
Nope I'm not into Asher Roth.

rap music is a jar of peanut butter. in the late 70's-90's we were makin fat delish sandwiches

as we enter the 2000's we have to make skimppy ass sandwiches wit one slice of bread b4 its all gone.

pretty soon we gonna buy the bargin peanut butter wit jelly already in it and start all over again wit sum hybrid shit.

our rap mainstream wise is almost done . from the publis stand point.

a new era is upon us and we can't do shit but eat this bullshit one slic a bread few daps of peanut butter sandwiches..

Wow! I must say I'm in complete awe, when it comes to these replies. It's the Siccness though. What else do we expect, huh? LOL!!!!

From the ignorant to the closet racist and on to the child in the store aisle who's throwing a fit because he's not getting his way. Then, there are the ones who refuse to accept that fact that a regular guy is rubbing elbows with some of the biggest names in the music business. Okay, let's be real about it, the guy is far from the best rapper alive category, but it's obvious he's doing something right.

We hate 50 Cent because he's a snitch, Rick Ross because he's a former C.O, Lil Wayne because he annoying and kissed Birdman, Michael Jackson cause he's a freak and closet child molester, Kanye West because he's a cry baby, T-Pain because he wants publishing points for auto tune, we even hate Auto Tune itself because it sucks etc etc etc...

I guess we're just never happy.

I think every rapper is a regular guy that did something right and made past the unkown level in to mainstream. good for them. yes they did something right at one point they all did to get to the mainstream view and good for asther.

i m not gonna hate sumone pursuing their dream and living it.

but I don't have to like the product their pushing or agree with it.

sum people like it, wich is why its there for the masses to eat it up.

so he likes to rap, ryhme words and has skills. so do a lot of cats. I just aint seeing the big deal.

maybe because now white suburbia or suburbia period has some one like them or their friends that they can relate too. good for them.

I guess they're tired of that struggle type rap and wanna hear more safety raps about fun. cool there is a place for that but not on my radio. if I wanna hear that shit ill pop in sum fresh prince. becuz he was talkin bout shit we people in the struggle lived. that shit was soft but it was ok.
now I don't give 2 shits about a college kids life fuck that. that's why kanye dropped out. blew up but that college fit in wanna be hip shit stuck wit him and look at ye now. people think he's gone of the deep end in to a pool of gay.

but get money aster. u just aint gettin mine.

Even people who claim to be the biggest fans of certain artist don't support them by, buying their albums ...thanks to downloading.

So the person saying they won't bump your shit because they simply don't like it, is in fact the most sincere.

i think he is koo. I think the reason why i think he is dope is because 95% of the music today is garbage and fake so when i hear something different or more closer to honest music I am like fuck it.

thats fucked up

fuck mainstream bullshit
shit tell me about it! I am starting to give passes and shit. I must admit, after hearing that rick ross album "deeper than rap" why did i cop the instrumental version of it only. i wasn't diggin the album for shit, just for the beats.

rant:

why do heads talk about a album like "so and so's album hella sick! did you hear the beats on it?" - that means the album is only 50% good

same thing when heads say "so and so's album hella slaps" to me that means dope beats but lyrics suck.

/rant

I am not hatin, just giving my honest opinion and i know heads under the age 25 usually do not know the difference.

i personally think a track aint shyt wit out a hot beat, yea alot of these mainstream rappers aint the best rappers in the world, but off top these mainstream rappers are always going to have TOP NOTCH PRODUCERS. because unlike being a famous rapper, you actually NEED TALENT to be a famous producer. and i was diggin that new Rick Ross Cd: j.u.s.t.i.c.e league, the inkredibles, the runners, drumma boy, rick ross knows how to pickem, ross came tight on it too ..

Wow...

I dunno, maybe because I'm white and I can relate to a lot of the shit he raps about (like beer pong bitch!!) but I think dude is raw.

He may sound and remind me a little of Eminem but for some reason his content sounds new and refreshing to me.

The album and mixtape are solid all the way through in my opinion...

To each his own though as always.
