Murder Inc is some biters...Irv Gotti and Aurelius 7 jack beats, Aurelius, who handles most production was run outta town when he was workin wit Rap a Lot, Mike Dean said he liked to take credit for beats that aint his, and he still is. Murder Inc cant come out with anything that dont got 2Pac on it or samples.

They tried to play Mike Dean by only givin him writin credit for Baby and Aurelius took the production credit.

she's good for singin hooks, I don't know about entire songs though...i'm not feelin her album...

to her credit, she wrote most of the songs on the album, which these days for a r&b artist is pretty rare...

BWAHHHAAAAHAHAA...SHE IS SO FLAT..SHE CANT SING GOOD AT ALL BUT MURDER INC GOT HER OUT THERE I GUESS..NAW SHE DIDNT SING THE HOOK IN THE ORIGINAL SCARFACE...AND I THINK SHE DOES WRITE ALL HER SHYT AND THATS WHY HER LYRICS ARE SO SIMPLE...BUT NOW! Someone started a petition to take away her Soul Train "Entertainer of the Year" award and a lot of people signed it...

I've never really listened to her but everyone I know who does says she sounds really bad live, and only sounds good on albums.

Ashanti is the most overrated singer out there. Anyone who ever heard her sing live can tell her voice sounds more shakier than some FatJoe on some stilts! Hint: One of her sound engineers told a friend of mine that she uses AUTOTUNE 95% of the time she does her vocals. If you are familiar with ProTools, you know that with AUTOTUNE, anyone can sound decent, I mean anyone. Even BizMarkie could sound like Johnny Gill!!!!!!!!!

yea i just bumped Scarface The Untouchable and noticed she even bit the intro from Mary Jane somewhat...

Ashanti's credits list Mike Dean & Brad Jordan as songwriters on that song... Mike did they iron out publishing issues with ya on it? A remix of "Baby" feat. Scarface would be right on time.

Thats what good looks can do for ya, if you're fine and can't sing or write songs you win an award on Soul Train. If she looked anything like Missy Eliot and couldn't sing or write she would be runned out the business.
