Artist Don't Make Money From Record Deals>READ!

robb: cmon now, yeah there is genuine folx out there, but in all honesty most are not..... most cats are only lookin out for themselves, and thats the truth..... and to me if you genuine and put all cards on the table, there is no reason for an artist or anyone to have any money issues with the label..... as a label, if you want shit done right, i feel you should get the artist as involved as much as possible with what your doin with there album or what you spend and what it takes to do an album..... when they see how hard it is, and the kinda money it takes, they will have a much better understanding when they get a pay check and its not what they expected..... but fact is most labels are just signing folx to quicc lil 1 album deals, so each party can make some quicc cash..... half the time there is no contract done, its just an agreement...... and them fools wonder why they dont see money..... and even if they get a contract, they aint readin the shit half the time, just as long as they see it reads "i will get 50%" somwhere in the contract they coo..... not realizing thats after the label recoops its money, which i bet the label can say it spent $10,000 puttin your album together, even if they only spent 5000, but most artist aint keepin track of that...... like i said, artist, producers, and labels are all bein very shady and greedy, and all this label jumpin is killin the game even worse..... what happend to the days where you was witta crew and thats who you rode with for life, and if you signed with someone, you brought the crew.....???? bussiness is shitty, and its only gettin worse, especially since now anyone can make a beat and record , and call themselves a label..... people need to wake the fucc up!!!

I don't understand this statement.. you gettin' over...") Shit when we gave checks to the artists they received itemized expense reports and statements... how many times you think they read um? They grabbed the check and threw the paperwork down and didn't even take anytime outta they day to read it.

KVE supplies a Expense account and a finacial report with every payment, and reports yearly income/losses for the yr to the IRS as Legitmate business with a TAX ID #
