Anyone into Krzysztof Kieślowski? I'm about to pick up The Double Life of Veronique on Blu-Ray....

I've only seen the three colors trilog...they were good. But that seemed more foreign film than arthouse.

Eh....Arthouse is pretty wide-reaching (pretty much an umbrella term), a lot of the directors mentioned here are more Avant-Garde/Experimental (Brakhage, Cocteau and Jodorowsky).

El Topo and Holy Mountain was dope, I remember hearing about it a few years ago.. bought some bootlegs of them on Ebay. Also don't forget another Jodorowsky.

I kinda consider this a little art house, very graphic though

It's good a thread was just responding to the foreign film vs Arthouse comment.

BTW, Santa Sangre is coming out on Blu-Ray:
