Hey, at least I was honest and the first person to actually answer the question.

That's really sad that people avoid that question...the truth fucking hurts, that's reality, get over it. That's just me though.

The manipulation has really paid of for Bush and his office.

side note though: Although the video was edited and there must have been several people who knew some awnsers I on the otherhand knew the anwser to every question asked. And find it pretty amazing that there are people who can say "Let's invade Italy next as being a middle east country". Or all point out Australia as being France or North Korea. This says either a lot of people's intrest in the world and other peoples wellbeing or the American educational system. But then again, you can make a film like this in any other country in the world as long as you ask enough people.

the problems that the US education system has, are the EXACT same problems it had when it began in the 1800's.

nothing has really changed that much...except voting...but when you teach everyone to think, be, and act the same way, you kind of have a lot of sheep.

pyramid schemes like capitalism only work if there are people on the bottom, i dont think our shitty education system if an oversight, rather, intentional
a country with a lot of educated people in it is very hard to control

you need a small number of smart people ruling over the great majority of stupid people to have an effectively functioning state

this is the reason USA is the most successful nation in the world - because people might be stupid, but by being stupid, they do their work well without asking too many questions, much like robots

this is also one of the reasons communism failed in Eastern Europe - because it emphasized a lot on education and produced too many smart people who, of course, didn't want to be robots and in the end the whole system collapsed

I think in USA it is completely intentional and the education system is designed to maintain the vast majority of the population in a condition of mental retardation

the most striking think in that video was when they asked people do they approve a war on Kyrgizstan, a country they've never heard of, and they all said "If the president thinks it's right, we approve it"

these people are the dream of every politician

I am sure you're not lying

you don't need to be smart to get good grades the way the american education system is

all they want you to do is to listen carefully to what they say and memorize it 1:1

which makes you a robot, not a smart person

it is outside reading and your own desire to learn and educate yourself that matters

which quality most americans simply lack and don't have any stimulus to acquire

Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire.

True, a person's desire to want to learn is key. However, there are subjects that are too complicated/complex for one not to learn correctly without proper guidance. I'm studying for the CPA exam and I frequently go to my boss to have him answer questions i have about certain topics. The source of where/who we get knowledge from is extremely important, imo. While in school, we had professors(theorists) that had phd's and lecturers who had over 20 years experience in the profession. I'd always bypass learning from the professors and opt with the lecturers. From what i seen and heard, employers will teach(in/formal training) the subject to their recent grad employees anyways.

There are 4.0 students leaving the Universities with no common sense and entering the working world. They're the ones who get fired instantly. Give me a 3.0 student with common sense(me). lol

that was my thoughts precisely, how 2 u control someone who is on your level of thinking, its very hard, but if someone follows u with blindly, u have sheep 2 control....just the way religion works..

"THOSE WHO CAN...DO....THOSE WHO CAN'T...TEACH."

By the way, it doesn't matter if you're "educated." Define "educated."

The system that oppresses this country is the SAME system EDUCATING THIS COUNTRY! What the fuck yall think is going to happen? NOTHING! They aren't teaching us SHIT, except how to be like EVERYONE ELSE....in order to recycle the system.

WAKE UP AND EDUCATE YOURSELVES!

yeah, but I wasn't raised in this country so everything I see and hear here is only more horrifying and shocking..

the more I understand how things in this country work, the more it looks like a "1984" situation
