I'm the same way Gas One, but there are fools out there that just don't know how to manage they money... my mom bein' a perfect example. That bitch gots like 4 cc's and everyone of them bitches are maxed and have been maxed so she's payin' hella interest on all of 'em. Blah though, she's a stupid gambling bitch... guess its expected from her. But I've seen some friends get in real bad debt cuz of cc's, so if you are one of them people that slack, gamble, or are careless with they money or paying bills and don't take care of shit and manage your money, then don't get one, otherwise yeah... I agree w/ Gas One... when in need they help a bitch out.
LOL...

Folks, it has nothing to DO with being responsible or the likes...it has to do with the whole concept of CREDIT as a whole.

If you dont see why CC's are bad, i suggest you look into credit PERIOD. Its a lose-lose situation as a WHOLE.
How so? 90%+ of my purchases are on credit because I get cash back, over $125 in the last 2-3months. Only time I don't use it is when they don't accept AMEX. I never get charged interest because I pay it off in whole, and have the flexibility to spend whatever I need, if I need it and don't actually have it. Plus extended warranties and return periods. Not one thing negative about it.

I was able to get something off 2 of the 3 bureau reports by using what they call on that forum the "1-2 punch". I have it bookmarked at home, it has sample letters where you just change it to your info and dispute and mail it in.

its your bad if you spend more money than you can pay back.

that shit is obvious as fuck to me.

id rather be broke with my credit card payed off then have money in my pocket with my credit card ran up.

it might be because i worked at wells fargo, and i fucked off my first credit card back in the late 90s. and now im mature enough to keep my shit in order.

but for real, ill live on 80 bucks for two weeks in order to pay my credit card off. as long as it cant gain interest i am happy.

because...i can run up my credit card again, if its paid off.....

i'm just switching bank accounts for a second....might have to use my credit card for that week.

i havent had ONE PROBLEM with my shit, yet.

oh shit that reminds me i gotta pay my parking ticket. fuck.

Kalyn, you have to stay on the credit bureaus to get shit removed. They'll sit on it forever if you don't push.

Stay on them? I did the online dispute with TransUnion annnnd Equifax I think- might have been Experian, I dont remember off top... but I have the CBR monitoring on my shit.. pay that lil monthly fee- I've gotten kinda crazy about it but I want my reports cleaned up and corrected.

Is it better to mail in than dispute online?

DONT ever get a credit card....trust me.

I didnt read any other post beyond this one.

If I were to do it all again, I would get a gas credit card, fill up every week, pay it off every month, build credit that way.

Other then that. DO NOT FUCK WITH CREDIT CARDS!
