woah there, he said its almost as good as going to the playoffs. Maybe you don't understand, but Bears/Packers is the oldest rivalry in the NFL (dating back to 1921). Coach Lovie Smith outlines the teams goals in the beginning of each year, and the first goal of every year is to beat the packers.

Obviously the team fell way short of the remaining goals and 07 was a disappointing season, but sweeping the packers means something to the team as well as the city.

Heh.... no... it's not. Don't try to fool yourself into feeling good about a shitty team that could've added another boom to Chicago's economy with another strong year, but instead chose to let out a 16 week burrito fart and then slink back into hibernation for 9 months.
