Sure, I'll pay an extra $200 for a Blu-ray player, don't worry about the fact that I, like many people, don't own an HDTV, so it won't do anything at all for me, and it won't be used at all. Don't even bother saying larger games, as it's not really larger, just uncompressed. If Oblivion can fit on a regular DVD, I doubt any game will have a problem fitting on it, not that I would even mind changing discs, I did it for the Gamecube...
If you want to talk about graphics for all 3 systems, it's not really fair, because most of the time, the Gamceube version was a port of the PS2 version... and not up to it's full potential. You want proof that GC had better graphics, look no further than RE4.
I'm not defending any system, just don't understand your apparent hatred towards the Wii, when you haven't even played it yet. That's fanboyism at it's finest.
