Anyone picking up the XBOX Elite?

its not a regular 360 but black. yes its black but it comes with a 120 gig hard drive and hdmi output as well as hdmi wire and something for the audio as well.
and the xbox 360 was never supposed to have a hddvd player in it. microsoft didnt want to force a unproven technology on the consumers.
and as far as the used space on the hard drive. some if it used temperaly cache files so games and stuff in the games load quicker. also its used for the operating system. and also all the updates that 360 offers, like the spring and fall updates as well as backwards compatibility.
but its like that with any hard drive. i bought a 500 gb hard drive, reformatted it (which wipes it clean) and it only had 480 gigs open. thats part of every hard drive, not microsofts. i bet the ps3 60gb is only like 55 gigs free when you first get it.

hdmi (high defintion multamedia input) it basically the red, white, yellow rca plugs all in one and can handle high def audio and video output. your tv needs a hdmi input on it for it to even matter.
but its the new standard for high def technology it pretty much sends uncompressed audio and video thru the wire that results in high def video and sound.

pretty mcuh, it supplys you with high def audio and video in one wire.
instead of standard def audio and video thru the rca inputs.
and you can get 720p and 1080i thru component cables (red, white, green, blue, red) but for full 1080p (best resolution out) you need hdmi and a tv that accepts hdmi and can display 1080p resolutions.
