I liked Scarface and some other movie with the same main actor, which I believe was called Chain Gang or something like that. I would like to see some more classic gangster movies. Some of them look dope, but I'm not all that into classic black & white films.
I was saying that those were ground breaking at the time they were released. Terminator 2 had mind blowing special effects and really set the stage for every movie after that in terms of what could be done with SE.
There's been countless "found footage" type of movies since Blair Witch. I can't think of that notable of a film to use it off hand before that.
The Matrix has been copied a lot too which kinda goes without saying.
I think what those movies you mentioned did, for the most part, was cosmetic. They were definitely cool, but as far as fundamental aspects of filmmaking goes, Citizen Kane seems to have had hit all the right chords, so to speak.
