i didn't even know there was a butterfly effect 2...lol...the first one is pretty good...it's interesting if you like the idea of time travel and philosophy...and i'm into that type of stuff so i liked it...ashton kutcher is actually somewhat decent in the movie...usually i think he's a fucking doofus but i could actually watch the movie more than once...so that's gotta say somethin.

i didnt watch butterfly effect 2 cuz it went straight to dvd and usually these kinda sequals dont do the og justice.....but you say its better than Deja Vu???? it must be pretty damn good then cuz i think DejaVu is better than 1st butterfly effect and also more realistic.....now i remember they manipulated a wormhole and accidentally folded space in a way that gave them parallel view to the time frame 4 days and so many hours bacc....kinda like a mirror to the past basically......

Just watched Deja Vu last night it was a good movie. I have a question though, was there 2 Denzels after he went back in the past? I got confused after he blew up underwater but then came walking to the crime scene after.

^the future denzel died in the past so the one walking up was the one in the past he was trying to warn but instead his partner found the note.....so the girl now already knows him and met him earlier but he has no idea of what happened.......thats why she told him the same thing that the past denzel told her "what if i had something to tell you that you wouldnt beleive?" and he gave her same response that she had given the past denzel "id say ask it you never know what someone might beleive" or some shit like that......

When I was picking movies in my Netflix queue, I saw this thread and decided to pick it. I thought it was a really good
movie; you are generally pretty safe though picking a movie with Washington in it as he picks good scripts.

Basically, the movie's selling factor is the ability to look through objects, and watch things in the past thanks to satellites recording 24/7. Helicopters have already been able to use thermal ( heat) sensors to act somewhat as an XRAy to see through whatever inanimate object and see a highlighted object based on the heat. With that technology you may see a red shape for the items that put off heat. The movie takes this a step further and uses a computer software to recreate the images making the room available to see. In the movie Washington asked well how do you get the sound then, and the answer was sidestepped; basically implying that there must be listening devices everywhere. Very good pick by the siccness community.
