I KNOW WHAT THE STRUGGLE WAS ABOUT... CESAR CHAVEZ'S FAMILY WAS CLOSE WITH MY MOMS FAMILY...WHO WERE ALL RAISED IN IMPERIAL COUNTY (WHICH IS ONE OF THE FURTHEST COUNTIES DOWN SOUTH) WHICH HAS IT'S OWN SHARE OF AGRICULTURE AND FIELDS AND WHICH IS RIGHT NEXT TO YUMA. WHERE HE WAS BORN...THE HUELGA BIRD WAS NEVER INTENDED FOR GANG RELATED PURPOSES...AND TRULY REPRESENTS THE STRUGGLE OF ALL RACES EAST,WEST,NORTH,AND ,SOUTH. WHO ARE INVOLVED IN THAT FIELD OF WORK...YOUR FULL OF SHIT TO THINK IT WAS MEANT FOR NORTENOS!!! LOL.
The huelga bird was adopted by Nortenos because scraps thought of them as a bunch of farmers and used that against them. Simple as that. It was not meant for Nortenos, or any gang, but it symbolizes what the scraps down south thought of the Northerners: they are a bunch of farmers. They pretty much discriminated against their own, thinking they were better than the "wetback farmers" up North. So why any scrap would try to argue over the use of the huelga bird is beyond me. You should have no concern..

IT AINT A CONCERN, BUT IGNORANT PEOPLE WANT TO LAY CLAIM TO IT BEING EXCLUSIVE TO NORTENOS WHEN IN ALL REALITY! IT'S INTENTIONS WERE NEVER TO BE USED FOR GANG RELATED PURPOSES...IT ISNT UNCOMMON TO FIND MURALS OR ART WITH THE HUELGA BIRD HERE IN OC OR OTHER PARTS OF SOUTHERN CALI...ESPECIALLY IF THE ARTIST IS NON GANG RELATED OR BELIEVES IN THE MOVEMENT, OR PUT IT UP BEFORE IT WAS EVER ADOPTED BY ANY GANGS. MY UNCLE PAINTED THAT MURAL IN THE EARLY SIXTIES WHEN THE NF DIDNT EVEN EXIST AND THE HUELGA BIRD REPRESENTED THE PEOPLE NOT NORTENOS. BEING THAT I HAVE FAMILY IN IMPERIAL COUNTY WHO WERE INVOLVED IN THE AGRICULTURE FIELD AROUND THAT TIME, I AM FULLY AWARE OF IT'S HISTORY. THIS SEASONAL WORK ALSO LEAD TO SOME OF MY FAMILY LOCATING TO TRACY AND PARTS UP NORTH. WHO ARE STILL THERE TO THIS DAY.

Fair enough. I only explained why it was adopted by Nortenos. The colors red and blue were not originally gang related, but gangs adopted them and now you don't see Nortenos wearing blue (up here, at least) so that's why I'm surprised you were even concerned about the huelga bird as most scraps pretty much disowned it long ago. It's kinda like mongolians.. Scraps want nothing to do with them because it is a hair style adopted by Nortenos. I understand the huelga bird has more meaning behind it, but you see where I'm going with this.
