We used to have actual "slot cars" back in the early 80's, big ass cars & you actually go to the slot car race track where everyone would be there racing thier cars.

I still have some in a box @ my parents house somewhere.

My brother got my son one of these smaller scale race tracks last year & he still plays it

Slot cars were the shit! I dunno if it was just me or what but I could never keep those fucking things on the track for more than a couple laps at most lol.

When I have children I will definitely buy a set for them. I bet they've come a long way since the sets I had as a kid.

i never could keep those race track cars on track.i always had more fun pulling the trigger just to see how far i could make the car fly off the track. lol takin the frame off and lifting the back just hear the little engine make that zzzzzz sound.

Yeah, my dad is building a real slot car track for my kids like the raceways have. He was WAY better than I was at racing those. I lost interest in it because I was horrible at racing on those.

MAN! No one remembers this show. That was my favorite show as a kid for real. They have it on dvd, I thought about ordering it
