I didn't see one person on here crying about vocals. I did however find some constructive criticism regarding the lack of quality in the vocals being a deterrent to somebody who would consider purchasing this album. With that in mind, X has been locked up for a minute, and if I remember correctly, there have been albums put out that did not have this low level sound quality nor these subpar beats. I understand X is a lyricist, but come on...

DING DING DING, we have a winner!

Co-sign what M-1 had to say.

It is a miracle that X is putting out records, but that does not mean that any given recording should be above scrutiny...IT IS, HOWEVER, important to factor in the limitations and challenges an artist faces in a given scenario while recording a record, and X faces MANY, many more than any other artist in hip hop, bar none.

It is incredible that the most exciting/most talked abut artist in Sac is still putting records out regularly from behind bars, which, in my mind, puts promising up and coming talent like the the C-Way camp to shame (all their talk of distibution woes, etc. can't hold a candle to a day in X's life on lock, and he is more prolific than they are by miles...here's to hoping they finally put out that NWO comp).

While I am thankful Raided has a new offering for us fans, especially in light of his incredibly difficult situation, I have not been totally enthralled with what I have heard so far off Eternally Unforgiven...the lyrics for all of the new songs are absolutely incredible, though...I think they are his very best to date (and that says a whole lot). I love the way that track "The Legend of Ice Cold" comes off as well... but I am going to reserve all further judgment until I actually get my copy (hopefully soon, but I live out in New York, so it's doubtful Bestbuy out here will get it...I may have to special order it online).

Yeah and when he droped them albums with clear vocals it was a different time and different pens, and if im not mistaken I belive "X" was caught with the equipment and did some time in the hole for that shit. Yall act like its hella easy just to drop albums with clear vocals when ur in prison. He aint got the same equipment no more and I dought its easy or even possible to get some sneaked back to him. If your a real fan then just be happy ur hearing any thing from Raided at all. Cuz truly the last album you should have herd from him would have benn "Pysco Active" any thing after has been a mircle that its even hit the streets.
Fuckin serious its amazing that people could bitch about vocal quality. Mother fuckers dropped like 8 albums from the pen, that shit is amazing. You think hes got a studio in there or some shit.

best produced song on the album is 'high notoriety' and x isn't on there!!! blaah

to me x sounded best over KG beats. if i wanna hear another album, it better be KG. some hollis beats were tight, but in general, they weren't. also, x needs to spit faster. i'm not feelin it when he emphasizes certain words in slow motion, totally unnecessary. it doesn't suit him at all.

i usually bump, for the most part, deadly game and speak of the devil when it comes to his albums.

imo this horrible(beats dont match him at all) this his worst album to date. I hope his next one is nothing like this. They should have Vince V or hollis do some the beats for his next one shit tanqueray locc could make some beats that fit him too.

Dont get me wrong he was spitting hard on this shit but to me the beats dont fit him

i agreee the production was horrible x dont even sound right on them tracks no disrespect to the producer but it just didnt match up.

Everyone always calls for a Raided album but seems to forget he's locked up. This album is tight as fuck dudes been locked up for years and aint close to mainstream but he's releasing shit Xorcist style would it be better if he was in a studio using auto tune? its been years since his last studio release but not like dude is out and has the luxory to do so as he please. Much props for the people who put this together and made this happen

In regards to the beats, I doubt they are working with a huge budget and a producer that is willing to work under the circumstances. Philthy Rich is probably doing the work for not a huge payday, but to help out with a legend in the game. With that said, I cant hate on the beats, but do agree if X was out free he would have much better production.

with technology today, how much does it really cost to make a beat? I think your point is a bit counter-intuitive. If you were working with a legend wouldn't you wanna give him the best beats that you have on deck or at least some of them? I understand if it's not going to be your big payday, but still. More people would probably listen to your collaboration with a legend, as opposed to some top beats that you give to some no-names. Which would be heard more often? Also as a producer, what are these "circumstances"? Producers I know have hundreds of beats just waiting to get spit on. What's so hard about sliding somebody some and waiting on it? That's if you took the time to copyright your product.

Got mine yesterday. Dimple had the whole stack hiding, so I made sure there all to the front. With all of the "x-raided presents..." It clouds up the real x-raided cds.

First off, if I read the credits right, Elayne did a professional job on the narrating. Sounded way official. Its cool she’s on it.

This is one of my favorite X-raided cds. Too bad all these arm chair producers have to bless us with their vast knowledge of "what they would do if ...."
Give me a fuckin break lol.

As a x-raided fan and supporter I am very happy with the way this turned out. I will admit that I was worried when I bought ignition. Yes it is a worthy purchase, but I didnt think it felt like a x-raided cd, which it wasnt.

This is a true x-raided cd. I love it. Nice artwork and color panel fold out, production sounded like it was made for x-raided. BLOCSTAR Please keep this formula.
