Anyone buy refurbished?

when u claim insurance on ur cellphone and get a replacement..they send refurbished ones.

only if you send the old one back...if it's lost or stolen, or shattered to pieces you get a brand new one....at least thats how my shit works...thats how i upgraded the last few times...got a brand new one and flipped it to get the phone i wanted

i have a refurbished cd burner...no problems and ive had it a few years already.

I have a bunch of refurbished stuff to and I never had any major problems that I wouldn't have had with a new one. The only thing that has died on me is my ipod but they go bad all the time thats why you see them on craigslist so much. My cd deck is refurbished and it has worked fine since I had it and it was like $100 cheaper than a new one. The motherboard on my computer is too and I have had that for over 2 years and it runs great.

The only thing to watch out for is that a refurbished unit may not come with all of the accessories like a remote or power cord so just make sure that it has what you need.
