sorry I was being generous and saying you pay 30% more for your computer and apple products, I should of wrote 70%-80% more.

There is no way you get your moneys worth buying apple products. I'm pretty sure my optimized Windows 7 64-bit with 8gb ram can keep up with any mac pro it goes against. Actually i'm sure of that, I tested how my pc runs with ableton vs some my dj's friends mac pros (with ableton). I typically get more plug-ins and tracks working smooth (with rewire) - and my whole system cost like 1000 less.

the point is, the mac is a more stable system with a lot less need for maintenance, and they just flat out last longer... and even if i do pay more, you're forgetting that mac's depreciate in value a thousand times slower than PC's do... i feel good knowing that when it's time to get a new computer in 4 years, i'll be able to sell this thing bone stock for $500+

i got a 6 year old powerbook with an outdated ass processor, and i can sell that thing on ebay for $200

the technology for holographic videos, keyboards, etc. that you saw in that youtube video (which only a concept by the way) is still years away. maybe they'll have it in the iPhone 10, but definitely not in the 5.
