^ i would never!

So I was at Oak Tree today watching the Texas Chainsaw Massacre and my younger brother got one of those new twenties so I had to peep it... These new bills will be very hard to reproduce for two reasons... one is the blue eagle on the front of the bill and the other is the numbers "20" printed in yellow over the back of the bill... I personally wouldn't even attempt to try and reproduce these new ones without a thermal printer and top of the line scanner. But I do have some thoughts on how it could be done...

Using the water technique I would scan the bill and touch up the blue eagle... Once I photoshopped the shit out of that to make it nice and beautiful I would save it. Then I'd scan the bill normally (dry) and I would digitally remove the blue eagle and lighten the color a little bit where the blue eagle was. Then I would go into a trial and error mode... I would begin printing the blue eagle to a whole shitload of pieces of paper changing the tint of the blue eagle each time in an attempt so that when the bill is printed on top of it the colors would blend well. I don't know how successful this technique would be, and I don't have any plans of trying it in the near future, but the criminal inside me is curious as hell to see how these new twomps could be defeated security wise.

Have a happy felonious time trying!

"The restyled, color-rich $20 bill, in circulation for just three weeks, has been touted by the government as the “most secure currency in U.S. history.” Well, that’s not true in Brockton, Mass., where a bunch of computer-generated phonies have turned up. THERE ARE LEADS but no arrests yet. Brockton Detective Domenic Persampierei says that’s because the bills are so new, no one saw the counterfeits coming. “I couldn’t believe there was a brand-new counterfeit 20 that came out because it’s… they’re supposed to be foolproof.”"

Yeah that's always a good technique... have your reproduced bills ready just in time for the unveiling to the public... that's a good idea... Oh well, back to listening to "Been There, Done That" by Dr. Dre...
