i just got one yesterday.. its weird cuz i went to the school nurse she said my temperature was perfect.. 98 point something. but this morning it was killin me i woke up hella fuckin cold and couldnt even get out of bed. now im about 102.4. havent had a fever/flu since i was hella young so it definitely is a huge surprise and downer to be like this. any got some home remedies for this?

There's nothing u can really do except sleep and drink hella fluids. U can take over the counter shit for your symptoms, but the only cure is rest.

Man I had the flu a few weeks back, put me out for damn near a week.

i heard another good way to get rid of it is sweat it out.. ive been sleepin with a heater blanket plus 5 blankets and comforters sweatin up a storm and it seems like it works but it brings my temperature way up so i dunno how good that is.

damn right, this shit fuckin sucks. And they misdiagnosed me, saying i had pneumoia first and put me on antibiotics. I went back for a follow up an they said it was bronchitis and didnt give me cough meds or anything.

this shit put my life on hold:(

i forgot how good it feels to be healthy

Well, when I came home from school my head started to get really hot. So I drank some cold water, but it didn't do nothing. So I laid in the bathtub for a while, but then I realized that it was my hair that was making my head hot. So I went into my kitchen and I shaved it all off. I don't want anyone to see.

fuck thursday i was suffering like no other i havent ate in 3 days......i went to the doctors today...he prescribed me some ibuprofen 1000 mg..and some antibiotics..i was so weak i couldnt even get out of bed and i was throwing up everythang i ate

^Yup. 3 things I drink when I'm sick. 7up (not sprite), Orange juice, Tea (with squeezed lemon). Chicken Soup and a lot of rest. think of your body/immune system being at war. Never had a flu shot in my life.

lol..damn i remeber when i made this thread,i was really fucked up that flu had my ass weak..its funny now how wehn someone gets sicks people at work automatically assume someone gotta have that damn swine flu and shit..

for your immune system get some oj and some 50 mg zinc pills, or if your stomach can handle it soem oysters. i multivitiman will help if you arent eating as much. yea and drink taht theraflu.
