I know at Blockbusters, a lot of times, they have the game cases on the shelves and the code things are inside the cases.. At least the one where I live is like that.. So, you might be able to take it out of the case at the video store or something.

If you're talking to me, I have Xbox live for 360.. And the free xbox live cards are in the 360 cases so I'm pretty sure they are for 360, but I've never tried using them since I have Live already.

Trying to enter a stolen card is pretty damn stupid, as Microsoft can get your address from your IP and have you prosecuted. I doubt they'd go that far, but you never know.

nah, its a lil paper card thing with a scratch off thing on the back and once its scratched off it gives you the code to type into xbox live. the numbers are already there on the card you just have to buy the card to get the numbers or in this case steal it.

I dont think anything is activated. its not like best buy, walmart, target, hell even online retailers and ebay are linked up with microsoft to know when a card is purchased and activated. the card already has the number on it thats active and you just need to buy the card and enter the number and it works. when i bought my card, it was like buying any other product.

yeah, its very unlikely that the cards arent activated til they are scanned. the stores scan the universal UPC code, it has no effect on the activation of the card.
