any hot Oakland and San Jose rappers here on the siccness?

he works for a magazine based in Memphis, but he lives in the Bay Area. he is one of the hardest workers in this industry, and networks with some of the biggest people in the entertainment business, not just artists. he made the post in hopes of giving some people on the siccness a chance to shine on some of the projects he's working on. don't think he aint out in the middle of the hoods everywhere, but he was using the internet to reach out.

But let me put it like this. I am not trying to meet "established" artists from Oakland or San Jose. And it ain't that easy to network with Oakland artists? I have been dealing with Oakland artists since Music People (do you even remember them?) was on MacArthur Blvd and was paying its artists (that was along time ago, lol). I have delt with Oakland Companies such as Moon Light Records, I have delt with Huge Oakland artists such as Too $hort and Ant Banks.
The magazine itself is from Memphis TN, but it has had a BAY AREA office for going on 3 Years. 3 of our 5 distributors are from California (2 in the BAY AREA and 1 in Los Angeles). I have never tried to network any of my companies off the strenght of the magazine. It is hard to Sell my Real Estate by stating to a Square that I work for a publication called "STREET MASTERS".
As far as the statement I ain't going to connect with everyone "overnight". I have owned my own publishing company since I was 8 years old. Ain't no one trying to do anything overnight.

It was first posted because I was finishing up something and got the idea that I needed an Oakland artist or group, and then I also had the chance to give San Jose talent a chance to shine.
Then I heard some of the music and the rappers, and then on top of that the producers were dope, and catz were showing one another love for their music and co-signing for each other, and so I told a few other people in the industry (2 rappers and 1 producer) to come by and peep the music and see if they thought they could network with any of the people that had posted their music since I only had like 2 free spots for what I was trying to accomplish.
Straight up it was just nice to see that there are some fly rappers and producers bubblin' on the underground in our region.

once again you attempt to comeback at someone with some smart ass shit that makes you look like a complete jackass. first off all he's not a fucking writer, he's not on here looking for stories, he was reaching out to the talent on here for a project he's working on that has NOTHING to do with the magazine. he is the West Coast Sales Rep for Street Masters, and has single handedly secured 3 world wide distribution deals for this magazine in the last 2 years.
yea you have no friends on the siccness cuz you continue to alienate everybody by trying to make yourself look smart but in the end just pissing people off by acting like you are the all knowing. you attempted to give some "advice" but you opened your mouth and spoke out of turn because you had no idea what the fuck you were talkin about. he is one of the most connected people I know in this industry, he has brokered and shopped deals for some of the best artists out. he has plaques on his walls and is family to some of biggest artists in the industry.
the point of his and my posts were and are, don't assume shit and don't stick your nose where it don't concern you, find out who you are talkin about before you butt in some shit that aint got nothin to do with you.
to the artists and labels that replied with music, good shit, keep them coming, he is working on a real project and the ones he chooses to work with will be contacted.
