oh shit, i forgot about onslaught...i had the comic in which the avengers/fantastic 4/spiderman/etc. helped the x-men...

I missed out on free comic books yesterday. I headed to one town about 20 miles away, only to find out that their store shut down a month ago. So I dipped out to a store down in Arkansas that's about 40 miles away and by the time I got there they had closed for the day. Oh well.

Man, the comic book market has fallen so hard since I was a kid. Growing up there was like 3 shops within fairly close distance of my house. Now I don't even know where the nearest one is.

The civil war shit which led up to the asassination of Captain America was cool... but I had to drop that shit after they erased 15 yrs of Spider-Man's history due to 'magic'
