dude, they interview you before they ever put you on a jury. they'll find out if you know the person, or if you have any sort of bias.

you wouldn't have to "try to get them" to do shit. Once they found it was your homey, or you're bias, they'd let you go real quick...or i at least hope they would.

I know that, I was just trying to say, I would say anything to make them not chose me. I refer to homeboys as northern cali in general.

I agree with I AM out of personal experience.

I have never responded to a single jury duty letter, EVER.

I've gotten pulled over and never came up with a warrant either.

The key, my friends - IS TO NOT RESPOND.

Don't even open the letter. Trash that shit. Plain and simple.

And, seriously, I'm glad cats can enjoy the experience for various reasons. But, for those of us with 9 to 5's that pay us many times over the rate of jury duty, it's something to try and avoid.

Folks, the jury pay is nothing major...actually its nothing...but your job should pay you regular time for being out for jury duty. So you should be getting paid, whether they need you to serve, or they let you go.
