Almost three months into the year and it's still easily the best album yet in my opinion.

I've listened to it damn near every day since it leaked back in late Dec. It's one of those albums that every day my favorite song changes.

Have you seen the My Girls video?

No, I haven't... I will definitely have to check that out, I know the guys are working on a feature right now to go along with their music -I'm really interested in that. (It's the same director who did the who could win a rabbit video, Danny Perez). But this album is amazing, by far my favorite album of the year. Makes me want to pull out the bass, the harmonium, some other instruments and get to work. FUCK!

Yeah, it's an amazing album. I don't know if it's my favorite by them yet because I'm still really partial to Sung Tongs but it might even bump that off.

There are so many layers to the songs, it's really great headphones music.

It's easily their most accessible album too... they really made some great, odd pop songs from front to back on this one.

you hit it right on the head... it's like skewed pop music, but really good engaging pop music. Those walls of sounds always get me, almost like a polyphonic stream of dulcet timbres (lol that's the best way I can explain it).
But yeah, Sung Tongs is still my favorite release from them... right now I'm listening to Feels, and later on that.

Yeah, I'm waiting on that shit too. Geologist said it's easily their most experimental work to date as well so that should be interesting.

What were your thoughts on Person Pitch from Panda Bear?

And, if you do like it, you should check out El Guincho's album Alegranza if you haven't.

It's like Person Pitch but tropical lol.

It's awesome.

There you go.

lol

No, but really I'd have to say it's the best album I've heard since atleast 2005. The melodies, song structures (or lack there of) and everything of the album are perfect IMO. There is only one song that I find mediocre on the whole album and the rest of the stuff I find to be great to amazing. There are so many layers to the music that you notice different things everytime you hear a song and different things get stuck in your head all the time. Like I said before it's good headphones music, then again it's also great to play really really loud. It's also feel good music too.

If you aren't sure, I say download it (it's easy to find) and give it a few spins before you buy it on Itunes. They do deserve the buy though, I own both the CD and vinyl.

Here is the video for My Girls too...

Never heard this band before and this music is FUCKING WEIRD!!!

But in a good way. It's not something that I'd listen to all the time, but it's a nice change from the norm of my music.
