the hole. i've never been that into techs sex songs but the ones on k.o.d. came from a different angle which made them better. i agree with the op about the mysogyny though. the part where he takes the chick out and slaps her in trunk was unnecessary and is gonna keep me from playing the song for 99% of my friends. you can say how the songs a metaphor for the industry all you want but no one i know will cosign slapping a woman. the same with the end of pauls verse.

which brings me to another point, on kod it seems like there's less filler tracks than usual, which is awesome, but stupid filler verses ruin some great songs on here for me. i loved horns until i heard king gordy's verse. that was so stupid and out of place i think i'm just gonna cut it out completely for the version on my ipod.

the mysogyny was ofcourse for more shock value and entertainment though in this case....even around others i would still play the track it gets that wow factor.

really king gordy filler verse? damn i thought it was one of the craziest verses on the album really dark & a crazy flow.

i didn't hear it for the first time until yesterday, didn't even listen to the snippets on amazon/itunes. only what was on the sampler put out earlier this year. after one listen through, i would have to say The Hole is the one section that stands out to me. might change after a few more listens through, but as of now, thats where i stand.

I listen to Madness the most and this is the first set of Sex-related songs since S.O.S. on MLK.

I don't think I have actually listened to the album in sections, so I'll give that a shot later after I lighten up a little and report back.

i'm not mad and i still like the song, it just ruins the songs playability for me in the presence of others, which i think is a shame for something that could have easily not been included. leaving the slapping sound out wouldn't have taken away from the song any but leaving it in takes away from the potential audience.

So throwing the bitch in the trunk doesnt bother you...tying her ankles and hands up no problem...riding around with the bitch in the trunk of a stolen car for weeks is cool but i cant let my friends hear this song cuz you can hear the sound of tech slapping her... whatever you say i guess but doesnt make much sense to me

To me, The Hole > Anger > Madness

There's two songs i find myself skipping on this album and they're Check Yo Temperature and Hunterish. i love every song in The Hole..

But what puts Anger above Madness for me is that I like Show Me A God, Demons, Blackened The Sun and Strange Music Box a lot more than I like In The Trunk, Pinocchio and Horns.. Blackened The Sun may be my favorite song on the CD. I really dig it. But Shadows on the Road is amazing too.

wow, and no ive never heard that song... as far as i know i prolly havent heard any of the cut material on any of his albums... i have all his official releases, none of that other shit though...
