- apply sdcard:update.zip
-wipe data/factory reset
- wipe data partition
-install zip from sdcard
-nandroid
-partitions menu
advanced


SO im missing step 7

i just got the X, I gave my droid to my girl- about 2 days ago it started acting up- it freezes, her music app goes off at random times, so i called verizon and they said since its only been a couple months since ive purchased im still covered under moto warranty.. so im trying to unroot before sending back..

if it freezes and apps are having issues its not a hardware problem. I would install Ultimate Droid v7. It's probably the best rom out there. I just got done flashing my girls droid with it the other day since she had v3 for a while.

It will get you kinda hooked after a while, especially when you get stuck. Of course you can cheat, but fuck that I'd rather figure it out

Alchemy is a great game. Still stumped on a couple of the things.

I also just rooted my first android phone, mytouch slide (I know its a wack phone, it was the best one in July). Put Cyanogen mod Android 2.2 on it and its fast and runs great. I thought it would be hard to root the phone with a command prompt, but it was not bad at all. So glad I was knowledgable on dos and command prompt from a long time ago lol.
