I've been out the android game for a sec, but have you noticed any leaps in battery life technology?

My main beef was when I had a droid x it kicked ass, then slowly turned to shit over the year(s). While my iphone, is still as fast as the day I got it.

I think only way I'd move back is if the battery life was far superior, and I could keep a phone for a few years, and it hold its performance.

engadget has tested the new Moto X and the battery life, for a "heavy user", went over 24 hours and was still at 28% batter life.

I guess the question is..what would you LIKE it to do? It more or less does everything a iPhone does. It has an APP store (Google Play), just go there and start getting apps would be my first recommendation. Is there something in particular you looking for?

Moto X review
great review, here's my favorite quote:

"The Moto X exudes no tech halo like the Galaxy S 4 or the HTC One because it is the sum of averages. Here's how I see it: You know those people who own iPhones, but don't know which model number they own and also refer to all Android phones as Droids? This phone is for them."

lol

Hey what do you think of the LG G2?
Saw it today. I mean the only thing that is intriguing at this point in these phones is the processor/RAM. This thing has, i believe, the Snapdragon 800...its pushing 2.3 Ghz...first American phone to get over the 2GHz bump. Other than that, nothing really impresses me to be honest. Waiting for phones to go over the 4GB RAM hump now.

Sprint has just been bought out by softbank. Softbank just invested 16 billion in the network. This japanese company is looking to run the wireless world. Sprint has the last of the available spectrum to run cellphones which there is no more available and now has almost double verizons. In the next 6-12 months Sprint will be killing verizon. Softbank is moving a corp headquarters in the bay area and will start here with network preformance. there is about 3000 towers that are just waiting to have the "switch flipped" as they say and LTE will be in full effect out here. If you have Sprint now Get locked into the unlimited guarentee while you can cuz they will be raising prices and capping data. But for now Yeah Sprint sucks... Let me know if anyone needs the hookup. I can throw up to a couple thousand in discretionary credits as long as its a business account.
