Need some help to you hardware experts. So im fuckin pissed that I pick up my phone after I charge it, then all of a sudden my touchscreen is fuckin possessed. I got the Droid 1 BTW.

The touchscreen is sometimes unresponsive, I try to unlock my phone with my pattern but it keeps pressing different buttons that I aint even swiping, when I finally unlock it, the phone just opens up everything without me touching it!

It will open the browser, then open my txt message screen, zooming in and out hella fast. I cant do shit. It will work for like a good minute then go back to that crazy shit. I tried factory reset, no luck. I tried deleting anti virus apps and other bullshit I dont use. No luck. The back button is unresponsive most the time. Scrolls up and down hella fast like WTF!?

Im pissed because I just paid my bill now I can even use it. I miss calls because I cant swipe "Answer." My warranty got voided a while back because my screen broke and they sent me over a refurbished one. Now this shit is fucked.

My question is can I bring this into the store and will they fix it? hook it up with another refurb? or am I shit outta luck. Heres a video I found of what it does.

Fuckin demons took over my shit!
Mine did that from water damage

see my phone never been by water ever. Just fuckin happened after I charged it. I got this refurbished 1 back in mid october. Had to exchange the first 1 i copped 9 months after having it because the screen all of a sudden wouldnt power on. Am I fucked? Do I have a chance of getting another refurb for free?

Is it better to call Verizon before visiting a store? Fuckin Verizon reps at stores dont know shit and seem to be clueless everytime I go there and the closest one to me is like 25 minutes away and I dont wanna waste my time and GAS for them to tell me "Sorry we cant help you." bullshit.

The og droid and d2 touch screen acts weird when plugged in. Have you tried a battery pull or even a hard reset? Sounds like you're fucked unless you got the extended warranty.

Battery died on my evo, had it charging in the car while I was in the middle of a call when it just shut off and wouldnt turn back on. Got home about 2 hours later would not charge at all, tried it in my wifes evo and nothing. Tried her battery in mine and powered up fine.

Would rooting the phone have anything to do with it ?
