I love the sense widgets. I just installed Virtuous on my G2 and if you overlock your phone your shit will be super fast. I guess it's a matter of taste. I'm waiting for that finial version of CM to be released to test it. What Rom are you running?
Launcher pro is still better and includes the same widgets. It's lighter than sense and responds so fast.

That shit is a scam. XDA and some many other people are complaining about it.

You might think of it as a rip-off. It says that you can install the latest apps for just the cost of the app itself. But, really, it's a bunch of older versions of apps, and has no support for the dev's of the apps themselves that ARE paid.

In other words, they have a data base of a bunch of old apps, both viruses and ones that Google has removed from the market for various reasons, and slows down your phone.

It has no connection with Google themselves as far as the apps go, and you can probably be sure that it will screw up your phone. I installed it because I was like "Cool. Only a few bucks, and then I can download apps from the market, sorta like a Zune pass or Netflix account or something!"

NO! It is no where close. DO NOT DOWNLOAD UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES! If you MUST have an app but can't afford it, try contacting the dev of that app and see what you can work out. This app is a rip-off and has no support for the devs of the respective apps contained, it slows down your phone, and contains a plethora of malware ridden and banned apps.

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

Yup, its official...trying to decide between the Epic and the Evo.

Which do you guys prefer?

Just doing a little bit of research on both, and seems like there is so much to learn about being a Droidgoon.

Launcher Pro doesn't have Clock or Weather apps IMO Sense makes the best Clock/Weather Apps. I love the flash intro when I unlock my phone. I think Go Launcher is better then Launcher Pro and its free.

Go Launcher
For the clock and weather you're supposed to use Beautiful Widgets (posted many times) since you can have the standard sense clock/weather widget plus many other options.

Launcher Pro still trumps all. It's a launcher, any other widget you need can easily be added.

Applanet is not a scam, have you even used it? Some of the apps might be a version or two behind but other than being down alot, it's actually a great way to get apps directly to your phone. I 100% back applanet.
