If you want to root yoru phone use this app. Works and it's real easy just did it on my G2.
VISIONary is now confirmed working on the T-Mo G2, Desire HD, Desire Z & MyTouch 2.2.1.

TIP - Hiding Pics & Vids

I'm sure a few of you know how to do this, but I thought I'd throw this out there for the Android Rookies.

So you want to hide a folder of pics or videos from showing in your media gallery huh?

Make sure your shit is in a seperate folder.

Make sure you have like Astro File Explorer.

Rename said folder to anything, or keep it the same, just add a period to the beginning of the folder name.

EX: .nudiepicsofsluts

Any app will forgo scanning for files in any folder beggining with a period.

Make sure you have a file explorer like ASTRO, this is good for other shit too though.

All your downloads usually go to a folder called DOWNLOAD (/sdcard/download)

With ASTRO navigate to /sdcard/download then open the apk file you've downloaded

For first time it might take you to a screen to allow you to install from unkown sources or some shit, make sure thats selected, then just hit the back button and continue.

Ok so I did what you said. When I got to the folder on Astro it just showed a whole much of files.

So when I download the file on pc I extracted then I dragged the whole folder to my phone. Was I just suppose to drag a specific file?
