Ortiz is going to get knocked out. Once Berto hurts you, he goes in for the finish. He's a dangerous fighter that nobody in the 147 division wants to fight.

that nobody in the 147 division wants to fight.
mostly that's because he over prices himself and demands crazy amounts of money when he only sells 550 tickets to his fights.

Take cotto for example. Cotto offered berto to fight him (instead of mayorga) and berto accepted, then demanded he gets 2 million dollars (in a 3 million dollar purse!)

Berto turned down to fight Mike Jones.

Berto turned down Mosley (the second time after the Haiti earthquake) because he didn't want to accept a 60-40 split and travel to California.

Berto turned down a rematch with Luis Collazo (actually it may have been HBO, but more likely Al Haymon).

Berto turned down Kermit Cintron.

So yeah, it simply isn't true that guys are avoiding him. The problem, and I don't really blame berto, the problem is with his manager Al Haymon and HBO for overpaying him. Berto got paid a $1 million dollars to fight a bum on the UNDERCARD of a Marquez fight, so of course he's going to only want a big pay increase to fight a guy like Cotto or Mosley. If HBO wasn't overpaying him so badly, he wouldn't have this problem and wouldn't overvalue his worth. When he can only sell 500 tickets in his home town, you got to really wonder what HBO is thinking.

BUT if he wins this fight impressively and even though ortiz is a 140 pounder, it's name recognition. Hopefully his popularity increases and that opens bigger doors for him

Berto just needs to keep on fighting and winning impressively and the big fights will come to him. Berto is getting better every time I see him fight, he's coming into his prime as a fighter.

lol dude did come off as kind of a weirdo but what it really is probably is that he wants to keep up the intensity in order to mentally prepare for Berto. Berto bout to K this kid tho.
