As an alternative to locking people up, I propose something that would benefit all involved.

Instead of jails for the most serious criminals (violent offenders, etc.) we need fenced-in, caged-in little cities with no rules or law. The only rule would be "NO ESCAPING". The ground would be caged as well so no one could dig under, etc.

In this situation, the first impulse would be to racially polarize, with black groups, white groups, etc. coming together as a group. There would be a team system to prevent this from happening, as it would contribute to even more of the racism we see today among the poor. The inmates, or "residents", would be given electric collars, forcing them to behave.

How this would benefit us is we would have cameras all over. It would be the ULTIMATE REALITY TV.

Imagine:
  1. Small amounts of food and resources to be competed for.
  2. Midnight raids with sticks and clubs
  3. To spice up the mix a little, wecould throw some women in, and watch the men war over them
  4. Random supplies like food, water, and condoms could be air dropped, leading to a network of scouts and spies, constantly in competition
  5. To get European ratings and viewers, there would be a constant element of gay sex. Since they are so vehemently opposed to violence, the sex would be focused on over the violence.
  6. There would also be a strong communal element. The hunt for water sources, food, and shelter would play out like a survival movie drama, kind of "The Edge" or "Cliffhanger". In between the group wars, stabbings, and murders, we would also see heartwarming stories of love, laughter, friendship, and struggle.
All this could be accomplished with PENNIES on the dollar. We would give the inmates the resources necessary for farming, wells, and hunting, and watch the ensuing fun! The ratings would be through the roof.

Oakland...interesting. I was thinking something a bit more rural though. There could possibly be havoc wreaked by all the industrial chemicals and machinery in Oakland. We could have wholesale environmental disasters. What would possibly be a better place, in my opinion, would be some rural Idaho area, or some shit.

Idaho doesn't exist comrade, didn't you see the earth is flat thread?

You know, I've been thinking. Couldn't we have some sort of incentive for the inmates? Let's say we hide like a BBQ rib sandwich somewhere, right? And then disperse several cool weapons, such as ice picks, throwing starts, blow darts etc. And then we could send down a big map to the location of the sandwich, but like we'll only send pieces of the map. YO, this is real, son. So you know, one guy might have one part of the map while some other guy with throwing starts might have another. They would have to work together in order to get the rest of the pieces, right? Ratings up the ass comrade.

Exactly. Exactly you've got it down completely. Except, we would give them an even juicier incentive than a rib sandwich, we would send out whole cows or pigs! That way we could film them chasing them down, stabbing them, chopping them up, etc.

We could also amp certain people up on PCP and methamphetamines.

Also, we would give them colored clothing to encourage rivalry. I'm thinking it would be alot like "Escape from NY". Good to see you guys are getting the drift...I know who to call if the funding comes through for this.

Sounds like a mix of "Escape from N.Y." and "Running Man."

i think you mean escape from LA. with that russel guy as snake. with the eye patch.

@WD i think you gotta use an island. an island be a lot better cause it would be harder to escape from it. plus it be harder to smuggle shit into.

Well they could make a boat and attempt to escape, see?

A large fenced-in area with motion detectors and automated defense systems would work fine in my opinion. Machine Gun turrets usually have a good "stopping" effect on people.

Could they dig out? I would make an electrified cage underground, and constantly monitor the inmates using GPS. We could possibly even implant GPS devices in their backs or jawbones.

Sorry to be the buzz kill but how exactly does this benefit or rehabilite the most violent offenders in society? And, how do you propose abiding by the U.S. Constitution which prohibits cruel and unusual punishment? Anyone on a reality show is going through cruel and unusual punishment, no?

All those rules and regulations are liberal ploys.

People can't be rehabilitated. Some are born criminals, some aren't. Cruel and unusual punishment already exists...look at our jails...they're killing each other anyway. We might as well get some entertainment out of it.
