some grants you don't have to pay back....with businesses and stuff like that and school districts you don't have to pay it back.....cause my elementary school got a grant from the bill gates shit for new computers and didn't have to pay anything back.....but if tadou thinks he's getting grants to make his music he's trippen....

With the PhD & MBA i hope to attain (which will take in upwards of 8 years), ill be able to be any of the following: CPA, Stock Broker, Auditor, Editor, Journalist, News Anchor, Columnist, CEO, CFO, Interpreter, Linguist, Translator, Foreign Ambassador, Author, Politician, Mayor, Spokesman, Marketing Executive, and too many more to name.
Knowledge is power. Leo in Latin means 2 things: 'Read' and 'Lion'. And guess which animal is king of the jungle? Yes siree, our Roman ancestors were DEFINATELY trying to tell us something.
By listing all this, im not trying to say im better than everyone else, or that every rapper who doesnt go to college is an idiot; in fact, im trying to say the exact opposite: most rappers are more clever, creative, and logical than the majority of college students could ever DREAM of being, and should take ANY and EVERY opportunity (loan or not) to get a good education.
How i think is like this: "If I dont go to college, how can I expect my kids to want to go?"
And yes, i will do one or more of those jobs i listed while also opering my own imprint as a CEO, CFO, Accountant/Bookkeeper, DJ, Producer, Composer, Engineer, MC, A&R, Publicist, Promoter & Manager...in other words, ill have my hand in EVERYTHING and be able to get the Artists and Beat Makers their RIGHTFUL share of the 'pie'.
Ive focused for 6 years straight on writing rhymes; now, i have 8 years to focus on Business. Isnt that what everyone kept telling me i dont know enough about? Is that not what i SHOULD learn about?
I may be studying 6 hours a day (outside of class, that is) for the next 8 years, but there's still Saturday Night's, and Spring/Winter/Summer break, and thats all i need.
Make no mistake about it...im not getting a PhD for MYSELF, im getting it for Hip-Hop, and more specifically, Hip-Hop in the NorthWest. I could get a Bachelors and live off $100k a year, ya know? But MBA/PhD's look better on business plans. On resumes. In board meetings with rich 'industry' folks and other wealthy businesspersons. To people setting IPOs...etc...
So if you thought my rhymes was wack now...wait til i start flowin in Latin, Chinese, Arabic, French, and Hindi!
