"Bret Hart announced his retirement from professional wrestling in October 2000 due to injury caused by a kick from Goldberg (December 23, 1999). Before his retirement Bret made three to four appearances in the WCW while not actually wrestling in the ring. He came out to praise the Canadian Lance Storm on his win over Mike Awesome. In one of his other appearances Bret was seen to blame Goldberg for his 1/10th permanent brain injury and also hitting him with Shovel near the grave which Goldberg had dug for Russo. In the War Games 2000 he also helped Nash to win the World Title when he slammed the cage door in Goldberg's face when he was about to win."

Goldberg's bullshit put one of the greatest wrestlers/entertains of all time into a unwanted/early retirement all cuz Goldberg didnt know what he was doin. He caused 1/10th of permament brain damage cuz he didnt have the experience, so how does that make him "the man"? He was a good entertainer and shit but he didnt really know too much about wrestling, or he would've been more careful. He also prevented the match I always wanted to see from happenin, the match that should've been done a long time ago but never did, Bret Hart vs Hulk Hogan. One for the record books, a classic!

True, but nobody would hire Bret Hart because of the brain damage. Stone Cold was told it was best for him not to wrestle no more, but he still could if he wanted to. Bret cant. Both are fucked up situations tho.
