Too close for comfort.
I completely disagree with that intentional walk to Rodriguez.

Back to NY...
YEA BUT IT WAS SMART CUZ AINT NO WAY SCIOSCIA WAS GONNA FUCK UP AGAIN AND LET A-ROID KILL FUENTES!...I WOULD OF DONE THE SAME THING,..LIKE U SAID, TO CLOSE TO COMFORT TO JUST GIVE IT UP AGAIN LIKE THAT AND LOSE THE SERIES!...NOW WE NEED TO HIT NEW YORK AND JUMP ON THEM EARLY AND TAKE GAME 6 TO FORCE GAME 7,..IF THEY CAN DO THAT,.. WIN OR LOSE, THEN ILL BE HAPPY!

AND WHY THE FUCK WOULD SCIOSCIA GO TO FUENTES,A STRUGGLING CLOSER WHEN HE GOTS 2 FRESH STARTERS SITTING IN THE FUCKING BULLPIN READY TO GO?!....THOUGHT SCIOSCIA WAS A BETTER DECISION MAKER THEN THAT! FAWWKK!

Ya, but that was with 1 out. He let Lackey stay in and get another out.
The umps have been horrible all game, for both sides.
It's bullshit, because the bad calls on us come back to hurt.
IF LACKEY WOULD OF GOT THE STRIKE CALL,IT WOULD OF BEEN 2 OUTS WITH RUNNERS AT 1ST AND 2ND!..IF HE WOULD OF STAYED IN I DONT THINK HE WOULD OF GAVE UP A BASES LOADED TRIPLE TO TEXIERIA!..LACKEY WAS IN THE ZONE AND I THINK HE WOULD OF GOT CANO EASY!..LACKEY EVEN KNEW IT I DONT BLAME HIM FOR GETTING PISSED OFF!...SCIOSCIA AND THE UMPS ALMOST COST US THE SERIES TONIGHT!

He's our closer, we have to go to him. That's his job, to pitch under an extreme amount of pressure. I don't know, I see your point in the ARod walk...but I still dont like it. Matsui has no problem hitting a double or more.

2 outs, no one on base, and your closer on the mound. Shameful to have to intentionally walk a batter, but I guess its what we have to do...

Never shameful to walk a great hitter. A-Rod been on fire these playoffs, he was makin shit happen, walk his ass so he can't do it..

But damn that was a good ass game I thought the Yankees had that

A Matsui double would have driven the run in though.
I just think the Yankee line up is too deep to be walking batters. Everyone is capable of hurting you. You guys are probably right though, because the last thing I want to see is ARod crush one out of the park and Fox show Jeter in the dug out doing his annoying fist pump celebration.

Odds are out. Yanks are a 1.7 to 1 favorite to win game 6.

Since hooligans always make a sporting event more interesting ... here's a clip of some drunken Anaheim Angels fan sneaking into the stadium's waterfall area during game 5 of the ALCS last night -- and dunking himself.

because starters are nototious for taking too long to get warmed up.........Fuentes is the closer.....Fuentes should get the call...

Scioscia is a very good manager
