The southeast is bad throughout central ave but tramway area is nice (expensive though). I wouldn't recommend the westside at all mostly because of traffic shiet is too friggin ridiculous out there.
Northeast is where I live now but it is pricey up there but also traffic is great and it does offer the best schools as well. My boy jus bought a townhome (academy and wyoming area) and he paid ~150,000 (thas pricey for alb) and my otha boy bought a 2 story, 3 bedroom, big ass backyard house on the westside for the same price. The houses in the northeast side been around longer and westside ones are all newer, but I still don't like that side of town.

I don't think gang activity is bad over here unless u go to the south valley, or anywhere off of central.

I never even heard of them gated communities unless u live on base

did u happen to grub at the fronteir? (across from UNM off of central) it's a great place to grub after the clubs let out on a friday or sat. nite

If thas tha kind of scenery u enjoy then will definately want to visit a lot of the small towns around here

There are gated communities around the city. The largest and most well known is Tanoan. It is expensive as fuck (probably nothing less than $500,000 for a home in there), but there are some other smaller gated communities around town. There are a few newer town house subdivisions that are gated in the NE.

If you're talking the best schools and the best housing areas, you'll probably be best off with the Northeast area of Albuquerque. I don't know if you had a chance to venture to the furthest northeast part, but housing isn't cheap, but it's a great area to raise a fam. Glad you were feelin' the territory D-Locc. If you're feelin' the mountains, Northern NM is off the chain for weekend mountain getaways with the fam.........Downtown cracks every weekend and there are bad ass broads every where if that's something you are lookin' for......
Thanks Cranky 4 the info-
mountains and bad azz females-that sounds like a Jason movie.

@SOAK::GAME
you right-more or less

Damn, did your CIA cover get blown or something? Who you work for double oh 7?
Not worry bout any "cover".
-thats how my kids live
Call me Agent Double O Duece Foe Blocc wit a TOP SECRET security clearance.
And I'm still keep it Rollinnnnnnnnnnnnnnn.

D-Locc I live on the S.E. Side known as the "War Zone" it isn't that bad bro, there is some nice apartments that are gated for a decent price.
Thanks BP.

I wouldn't recommend the westside at all mostly because of traffic shiet is too friggin ridiculous
Traffic wasn't coool at all, everywhere I rolled.
I have a big azz SUV and the little azz roads dont work 4 me.
They are not wide, very narrow.

Looks like I won't even be pusing my SUV with the narrow roads and HIGH AZZ GAS prices out there.
Gas in TEXAS like $2.00, it was like 2.89 out there. DAMN!

did u happen to grub at the fronteir? (across from UNM off of central)
NAW...We did smash at the Denny's across from UNM.
Mann, folkz was all in the street over there-I'ma roll over someone there with my ride.

Can you believe the weather here right now homie?
The weather was great when I was there....just a tab colder than TEXAS.

Whats up with the STRIP CLUBS-??
Any tight ones???
I saw only ONE run down strip club.
Whats the happz???

Also night clubs???
didnt see any-
