i bloked my sister out using a layer mask......
had 2 layers of her using different layer blending settings......
and applied a filter to the bacground to my liking......
specifically, i used a set of filter called NIK! COLOR EFX PRO...
and used the MONDAY MORNING setting (i think)......

^COULDN'T YOU REACH THE SAME EFFECT WITH JUST ADJUSTIN' THE COLOR MIXXER, AND ALL THOSE OTHER IMAgE ADJUSTIN' TOOLS IN ONE LAYER?

it wouldntve achieved quite the same look.....
the filter was ran over the entire image........
then the other 2 blending modes subdued the filter on her.....
leaving small remnants.......
