I dont get why any average straight man would feel the need to tell another man he cant get married, why the fuck would you care about some gay guys do? If ur concerned about what a couple of gay niggas do then yea theyre gay, but ur a faggot.
This is the funniest thing I've read on here in a minute. I also agree 100%.

Question...

Why is it that every time
I turn on the radio,
I hear the same five songs
fifteen times a day for three months?

Man...
FUNK DAT!

that is a classic song. think it was from 1993 or 1994 sometime in the mid 1990s if i recall. djs on the radio hype up the new song from this singer or that singer. dont nobody wanna hear the fuckin song every hour on the dot. kmel did this with some new song by usher and another garbage song from a pop singer

the request lines are a joke. aint nobody callin 47 times a day just to hear a new macklemore song. play the song at a time when nobody is listening like 3 am lol. the lebals are so desperate these days to get sales that they pay the stations to play a song 97 times in 2 days. this corruption wont stop anytime soon unfortunately

nine2five nailed it, the main problem I have with him is from a technical standpoint he's really not offering anything new to the table that's already been brought for the past few decades. Sure, I like the fact that he brings up issues and topics most people avoid but when you do it in a uncreative and simplistic way then I honestly don't give a fuck. At the same time I understand he prob does that to reach a large audience, but you can't balance every aspect to a point where you become the epitome of average.

Oh, and if anything he says has any impact on your life or makes you see things with a different perspective then it basically means you are fucking retarded.

he definitely feminized "hip-hop" and the music he makes i wouldnt even call that. its pop music and catering to people who dont even like hip hop. plus, "thrift shop" is not catchy or cool, and is actually fucking annoying as fuck.

Lord Jamar's statements make perfect sense to me

Jamar is looking at hip hop as a cultural form of expression and art

Hip hop is now a globally consumed commodity, and the process of watching hip hop being broken down and transformed into a product that fits todays greater society is frustrating to a lot of pioneers of the music.

I think Jamar thinks that Maclemore being half a homo is out of line because he does not think people such as Maclemore should have the platform to direct which social cause this genre of music chooses to recognize/empower, for a variety of reasons

In reality, this is not hip hop, this is pop music. Maclemore is a pop artist, the end
Rappers Delight was treating hip hop as a commodity and people hated them for it, yet today it's a classic that is respected throughout hip hop and beyond.

When it comes down to it, hip hop is about moving the crowd, being socially conscious, and having skills. I guess Macklemore does 2 of those 3. He's popular to todays kids and covering topics like gays and all that which is being socially conscious in his world. The hip hop pioneers talked about their hood, projects, and all of the grimey stuff they saw. This kid sees and supports faggotry and raps about it. No real difference, other than most of us just can't relate to his homo agenda he's pushing or shopping at the thrift store. It is pop, I agree, but hip hop is so mainstream now, those lines are blurred to some extent unfortunately.
