After letting CHS soak in a week what are your thoughts about it?

^ I agree completely but I really doubt it's gonna reach more than 3 or 5 Beta beats. I hope to god Lynch busts out some of his own production, if he does it will probably only be a song or two.

I wouldn't be surprised if Lynch feels like he has to include a lot of the Strange cats cause they put him on the label and are doing an awesome job with his promotion, money etc... I mean look, he has already released 2 full albums on Strange, this is the most active Lynch has been in like 10 years.

Believe me I hope there is more Beta/Lynch production, I just don't see it happening. Though I will admit, if it does, it would be on the third and final Strange album I bet.

I don't think Lynch is obligated to use Seven, or any other producer. Lynch chooses the beats and as far as CHS goes he picked some fucking slaps. I still think Therapy Session is one of my least favorite songs on the album....that isn't even that great of a Beta beat

Yea I agree with you, what I meant was I wouldn't be surprised if Lynch himself felt obligated to use Strange producers/feats because of the deal Strange gave him. I mean look at where he was before Strange signed him and where he is now, two whole albums in only what, just over 2 years? I think he knows he couldn't have pulled off what they have for him, I think we all know that considering all the BS Madesicc spits out with releases in the past and release dates. I love Madesicc, just sayin'.

wow skimming thru this thread im a little surprised to hear that so many prefer CHS over DAAM. First of all im a big lynch fan but not a die-hard so I cant really speak on the production or lack thereof. I feel like the production on both his new albums has been top notch.

As far as my opinion of this album. I am definitely feeling it, but on first and 2nd listen it didn't grab me the way DAAM did thats just me being honest. Like CHS has some SLAPS but when i first heard DAAM i was like "oh yeah, this shit is hard". With CHS i think its dope to but if we're comparing his Strange releases I have to give the edge to DAAM.

Daam probably gets the edge for me too. I had very low expectations of that album and I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed listening to it over the last year or so. Of course, that meant I had high expectations for CHS and it pretty much lived up to what I hoped.

Comparing Lynchs last two releases to most of the music being put out todays shows how talented dude really is...even the rappers that drop dope music these days cant spit as hard as Lynch...Like I fucks with the mobb figaz, livewire, and dope rappers like they have in there circles but if you put Lynch up to mostly any one out there dude is just a better emcee all around...and I feel Lynch isnt even at his best right now and he still shits on 95% of the rap artist out there...with that said he got room to improve and IMO needs to bring back that gangsta shit with just a twist of that sick shit...right now he gots it backwards but after this killer shit is done a expect to get some of that throwback Lynch

I agree ghost face. Lynch is just in a different dimension than other rappers. When he's on his game he really can't be fucked with. Nobody else can rip a verse the way Lynch Hung can......

^ You guys really like DAAM over CHS? You think it's cause you listened to DAAM way more over the past year and just got CHS, or you just like it better? I really am not feeling DAAM minus maybe 4 or 5 songs, but that's it. The beats are just too much, and Lynch doesn't rap like himself minus a few good verses. He is all slow and doesn't put that emphasis on some words like he usually does. On like 80-90% of the album he sounds tired and flat, doesn't sound like he is excited and getting into/riding the beat like he is known for. Just my opinion.

I definitely agree, DAAM shits on all the other rap out nowadays though, I just think CHS is quite a bit better and more of a Lynch album.
