i just want modern warfare 2, after that i wont even care.

you will care when the first screenshots of modern warfare 3 emerge!

im sure that activision will still make more money if they stay releasing games on the ps3 than if they stop releasing games on the ps3, so they will carry on

Actually, you said they act like "the most important gameing company", you didn't say "the most important console gameing company".. Either way, Activision is a force to be wrecken with on PC and Console fronts.
True...but all Activision really has on the console front is CoD. PC Gaming is entirely different. I do agree that with just CoD alone, Activision is doing pretty well but it's not like they're extremely popular outside of CoD as far as console gaming is concerned.

Activision has:

Guitar Hero (whether you like it or not, this does make them a LOT of money)
Tony Hawk
Call of Duty
Prototype
World of Warcraft
Modern Warfare
Starcraft
Diablo

Also, whoever said the PS3 has sold 23 million is just pulling numbers out of their ass. None of the current gen consoles have sold that much, AFAIK.

go to http://www.vgchartz.com/ and look at the chart on the front page. its worldwide sales. u can break it down by region
activision doesnt make games for the japanese audience. i would be surprised if any of their games ever even sold a million overseas. import market isnt a factor in their decision at all. they could care less about the consoles in japan

if you break it down by america ps3 has half the consoles 360 does and almost a third that the wii does. thats horrible. their last months sales were horrendous. they are damn near still selling more ps2s

as much as it is hard to believe, you have to think of the ps3 as the dreamcast of this gen.there has to come a point where if the console isnt selling people are just going stop making games for it. thats just common sense. im sure plenty of other publishers are thinking the same thing about the ps3 behind closed doors, just dont have the balls to come out and say it.

I agree with this but wouldn't call it the dreamcast of this gen. I'd call it the Saturn of this gen. Dreamcast actually did very well for it's time, and the ps2 was the nail in it's coffin. They were outdone by a superior machine, not to mention Sega had debt. But what is Sony's excuse? They are being outdone by an INFERIOR machine (wii) and a machine of similiar performance (360.)
