All that stuff is in respect to a fallen friend and his life. Not the way the friend died. All people need to know is that he was Woodie's good friend, and he misses him, and he expresses it in his songs. How would you feel if your best friend died and all people cared about was the way he died, and they all asked you about it all the time. It's disrespectful to Woodie, his friend and everyone else envolved. If you needed to know you would.

i personally had really started to wonder because on the outro on yoc influenced.....woodie says, "stay safe, i know you doin alright. just do what you gotta do man, to survive, we survivalists you feel me?" and this was after blackbird was dead, so it really had me trippin right there.
