thats why i'm coo off young folks who seem to have it all. new house, brand name clothes tons of shoes. over sized flat panel t.v. new cars.

alot of folks got nice shit to cover their real financial situation. alot of debt or no equity on their home.

i'm happy to see somebody make it but by doing it the right way. so if i ever get where i'm supposed to be at i know the right way to do it. without fucking myself over.

all the shit i got i pay cash and if i can't afford it i don't buy it.

i'm always looking for good shit with a deal so i'm living pretty comfortable.

but as far as getting a house and shit like that thats a far off goal i should be ready for if i get a better income. cause i'm not in debt and i know how to build credit. not fuck myself in it.

the have it all now attitude got folks living beyond their means and if my pops ever taught me something is to not live beyond your means.

my brother bought a house in 05 but he did it the right way. he taught me the credit game. got a nice house with nice furniture but he works hard thats the only reason he's at where he's at.

i got all the respect in the world for him cause while his friends are talking about people they see on t.v. cribs or jay z or something. they still living at their mommas house but got the nerve to hate on him.

shit whutever.

folks don't even pay rent. what part of the game is that?

this is exactly how I feel man...People wanna get expensive shit to show off or feed their ego that they can't afford, put it on credit cards which haunt them and keep em from actually coming up...

Can't afford it...don't buy it...fuck paying interest...thats money that should be in yoru pocket, you end up payin more on interest then the actuall price of the shit you buy

I got couple credit cards that I use all the time but that's only because I know I can pay off the money I'm spending. If I aint got money in the bank to pay the shit off the same month, I aint buyin it. And I'm not someone who spends a whole check on one thing...spend a check on clothes or to go on a vacation, fuck that...I aint old enough or worked enough to be needin a vacation...

^its true because once you get those fuckers up high its tough to clear them off I drop like 300 a month on my credit card and the balance doesn't seem to move an inch

My line of credit I'm doing well with though I'm knocking that one off pretty niclet and i owed more on it than the card at one point. I have another credit card I havn't even used once yet and plan to keep it like that. See they want you to have credit cards and retain a balance on them so you can have credit so you can get big loans for businesses and houses thats how the system works. Since I'm with my folks right now I just have to pay as much on them as I possibly can and get the shit over with. Live bummy for a couple months and be done with it. I owe Gz though its a bitch but it has to be done, I'm being responsible by paying them but its not enough I gotta give them like double or even triple what I'm giving them to really pay them off cuz when your balance is high your interest charges are a bitch
I feel you man, its like those interest only home loans...you keep payin a big chunk of your paycheck to the corporation everymonth and yoru debt remains exactly the same...I'd rather buy a smaller house that I can pay off little by little and move on up from there...

But your already in this shit and my advice is that you pay that shit off as soon as possible. That interest is money that keeps adding on...fuck that, its one thing payin off the money you owe, but paying interest is like kicking you while you down...Good luck wit yo shit man, hope you can get out of this shit soon...

Great thread! I've been thinking about this issue in recent years. It's said that credit cards are really meant for people who have the money and I believe that now. Debt can be difficult to get out of.
