A SAD CHRISTMAS UNFORTUNATELY...

i just seen this story on the news down here in southern cali channel 9 news (kcal).
they said it started from the fireplace and the 5 year old was sleeping in the living room waiting for christmas to come to open his gifts.
they also mentioned the daughter to be the 13 year old aunt.but i don't understand that part from reading this thread yesterday.
happened in palo alto.
i told my parents about it and they were also sad to hear about this.

i just saw this, and im sorry to hear the bad news mac, i got 2 kids of my own as you know, everytime i hear somethin like this happen, it scares the shit out of me, cuz i couldnt imagine bein w/o my son or daughter..... so i can feel his pain, even tho its an unimaginable pain im sure.... r.i.p. and god bless

I was very sorry and saddened to read this last night when I was at my Dad's house, I didn't have my password or I would have replied then. This is truly a tragedy, and we are all sorry for this, especially to happen to a child, any child, right during the holiday season adds to the hurt. It's going to be tough for a long time, and it is going to be very hard for loved ones to realize that that little 5 year old is now a true Angel watching over his family and loved ones.
Try to be strong for your loved ones, because it's going to be very hard for them to be strong at this time and they are going to need someone to support them.

I don't know what else 2 say besides i'm sorry ....This is a real sad thing 2 happen 2 such a young life...I seriously feel like cryin... like Tact said.....I don't know what i'd do....I can't even think of this kind of thing if this happen 2 my Nephew...I love that boy so much...My prayers go out 2 the boy and his fam...and everyone else hurt by such a sad moment..

JUST TO UPDATE YALL. LUCY SANFT WHICH WAS LIL HOPATE SANFT'S 13 YR. OLD AUNT HAS ALSO PASSED AWAY AS WELL. SHE DIED LAST NIGHT. I FOUND OUT WHEN I CALLED TO GET HER ROOM NUMBER TO GO AND VISIT HER AND THE FAMILY. HERE IS THE ADDRESS TO SEND DONATIONS TO THIS FAMILY. THEY HAVE NO INSURANCE AND HAVE TWO NOW BURY TO KIDS.
