on channel 2 they had the ads for the Giants, and they had that song that went "The boys are back, back on 2, and thats where theyre gonna stay!" it was like their own version of "the boys are back in town" or some shit...

The old KTVU logo I could never figure out was a 2 inside a circle

when I was a kid I used to look at it like "what is that weird blob of shit"

Man every month I used to drive to Vallejo to get my shit chipped by a well known rapper who shall remain nameless...$50 for unlimited out going calls in the mid 90's was JOOG!!!!

What sucked tho was when too many cats got put on one frequency. If someone else started to make a call, yours would drop. That's why certain cats did better than others.

Oh and I also remember all the talk about these "unmarked vans" that would cruise thru the hood and try to pick up people usin' faulties...Still don't know if that was some urban legend shit or not though.

I use to decode those brick phones and sell them myself.if you bring you own phone it was half price! that's when me and my brother own a record store. chip phones and CDs or go around the block for what ever else you need lol.aaaw man I remember "go see cal" we use to say "go see cow" I will stand up on my head till my ears turn red lol

I forgot what channel but there were these PSAs that spread the good word of diversity and talked about the history of different cultures, at the end they would say something like "I'm proud to be a Chinese American!" Thats some early 80s shit right there
