2 things that I thought of recently that made me say "OH SHIT!!!"

Charley and Humphrey on Channel 2....They were the 2 puppets....one was a bulldog and I can't remember what the other one was.....But they had little moral segments from time to time....and I remember one involving bees and honey for some reason lol....

and on a lesser important note: I miss when KOFY Channel 20 used to have the station ID's with the dogs sittin on chairs.....that was the shit lol....

my memory is hazy, but does anyone remember those little public service announcement type shits on channel 2 with kids learning about their history or nature and shit like that? the only one i can clearly remember is a little chinese girl going thru chinatown and seeing the roasted pigs in the butcher shop window....anyone remember these????????

on channel 2 they had the ads for the Giants, and they had that song that went "The boys are back, back on 2, and thats where theyre gonna stay!" it was like their own version of "the boys are back in town" or some shit...

I remember the A&W where the burger king is now in westlake daly city. place had a huge fire place in the center, and the girls were on rollerskates (?) bring your food to your car in the parking lot. Best root beer floats ever.

The last one time i remember seeing that commercial (lotsaglue) was maybe 8 years ago before I had to go to work (afternoon job, leave the house at 4). those spots have been around mayber 20 years plus???? im 26 now and remember those from when i was like 4 or five...


Im proud to be a chinese american....

and paul was the shit, i liked the spot where he had his female employees carry him through out the commercial to the tune "soul man" but it went "im a credit man...."
