A question for PS3 owners

LCD's can infact get the image burnt into the screen, ive seen it happen plenty of times. To fix it you gotta burn an image over top of it that is bright like a white screen. Ive done that before to fix em.

Newer LCD's do not run into this issue very often.

Honestly I hope they didn't. It was working fine the first 2 or 3 days. I noticed it after the 5 day.

Ill take your word for it, where I work we got these small 24 inch lcd's and Ive had burn in on about 3 of em.

i usually turn off my tv if im pausing it for a long time.

that whole white flash to fix the screen = plasma. i have an LCD and i dont even see that in the menu as an option. however, my roommates plasma needs that white flash fix every time we finish playing games on her tv.

I snatched a ps3, it was a deal I couldn't pass up on. I'm trying to get the wireless connection going but it keeps timing out. Every lap top that comes through here is able to connect without a problem, but this PS3 keeps giving me an error. Anyone have there PS3 connected to their regular cable modem? When I was playing xbox I would have to lug the 360 upstairs and into the lab (which took like 20 minutes to connect due to how the spot is setup) connect it, and 30 seconds later I was on LIVE. I'm gonna see if I can connect it to this little small tv and connect it to the net.

your wireless connection on the ps3 depends largely on the distance from the router

i used to have the router about 10 metres from my ps3 and had a signal strength of about 60% or 70% on a good day

now my router is about 3 metres from my ps3 even though its in a different room and i get a signal strength of 100%

try moving your router around the house and put it nearer the ps3 if you can
