Science does not Prove God
I give you a thumbs up because it's obviously a no brainer. You've stated in the past that you don't like these kind of arguments, yet you keep making threads about them. If this thread becomes too redundant for you, you'll start to throw info everywhere left and right. God exists in our hearts, minds, souls and in the 3 realms of heaven. The Sky, Outer Space, the the celestial outer space. What I said is just a vague statement and I don't care. Science doesn't prove God, because if we need science to prove God, that belittles his being and character. For those that are theists and are scratching their head as to why I said this, I'm trying to come at the most non-zealous way. So BOOOOOO!!!!

science is not the complete and whole truth, it is the best method we have to find it (to deny that means you're ignorant and stupid, not that I am arrogant, period)
science can't prove or disprove the existence of God because if God exists, the scientific method is not applicable to the solution of that question; the exisence of God implies that we do not have full control over the experimental conditions and no experiment trying to prove or disprove God can be interpreted unambiguously
on the other side, the only valid way something can be proven is to use the scientific method, so God will remain in the category of the unproven things forever (I would also add the word "unlikely")
this is the reason why me and other like-minded people are so outraged at the idea of supposed "scientists" presenting "proof" for the existence of God
this is not just a violation of the scientific method, it is shitting on everything that science is supposed to be

But you have to understand that science has reached a point where the amount of information accumulated is so huge that it is impossible to do science without knowing a lot of facts; it is a requirement of the profession. What people often fail to appreciate is that inteligence rarely plays a big role in science, some concepts might seem very complicated to the layman, but they are actually composed of small simple steps, which people who have worked in the field for a long time know. It is not that these people are more inteligent than the rest, they just know more and that enables them to do things others can't.
This whole argument is just another desperate attempt to attack scientists for being "intelectually arrogant" which is not at all the case
If you don't want to feel inferior because you know less than them, the information is out there, all you need to do is go and get it
Tell me how much are you going to understand of molecular biology if you don't know the proteins in a cell, the signalling cascades, methabolic pathways, etc.?

Well, you neither know the facts, nor understand anything so you can judge how much people "understand" only when you learn as much as them

By the way who is this professor? and does he teach at a community college? I can't believe some news station aired a story on this.
Quantum mechanics and relativity in itself is impossible to prove scientifically (for obvious reasons, such as its impossible to observe the universe objectively), and both in no way imply that god exists, he's basically making an assumption using the old "everything is too perfect to not be planned". Nothing new.

Even if God does exist, we couldn't technically prove it using scientific method. People seem to assume because of this that science is attacking religion, but this is not the case. There are plenty of scientists who believed in God, but they kept their faith and scientific studies separate. In science, anything that is not experimentally observed is not proven, any speculation is theory.
That's why this "science proves god exists" is a joke. These videos made me laugh.
