I understand your point. Why should a muthafucka change his style to get accepted? It's the same shit that hit me on the head when we got started. But then I realized that the mainstream crowd only wants to hear certain shit no matter how good your street material is. They ain't tryin to hear it.
You then adapt and do what Bash did, give the ladies a track or 2 for the radio. You can still be yourself bro, but you gotta diversify if you want to survive. You gotta have something for every body in each album you put together.
Gotta do it like Pac did man, he kept it real but also kept the ladies happy with a couple tracks....

When i made this post I had just gotten to work. I commute 1 1/2 hours and so I listen to the Radio a lot! I have programmed the usual..KMEL...Wild 94.9....My spanish station KBBF....98.7...98.1
ETC....

Well it seems that lately that every song now days is directed towards women! Now every once in a while I don't mind it...But it's out of hand. That's all I was sayin! I never mentioned any names cuz I wasn't referring to anyone specific. I got mad love for Jay Tee and Beesh. I've known Beesh since...( This album below which I own on cassette)...anyway, I am glad for them and actually proud to know them...Raider fans stick together!

B12.....I agree with you 100%...really....but it doesn't mean I have to like it right? Shit..If I could rap I would be in the sound booth spittin some shit that would not only get me paid but laid as well...can't beat that...2 birds with one stone!

Rap is not what is use to be...it's part of POP culture now! Back in the day when i use to go to the wherehouse and get the latest Indie release like Ray Luv or JT..I felt like I had something special. Something that the average fool didn't know anything about!

Now days...that aint so......

Just for the Record....I DON'T hate women! That was never the issue! I've been married for 10 years! I have a 10 year old daughter! Women are beautiful and I try to let them know as much as I can as many times as I can!!
