I disagree again, you fight someone to prove a point or to send a message.

If that's the case then why not throw on a pair of gloves if you're just trying to prove a point or send a message and not hurt them? If you trying to prove you're the better fighter or your a stand-up guy then why not do it in a ring with some rules set? Because in street fighting there aren't no rules.... and trying to act tough just to send message can get you seriously hurt or killed.
